In 1999 Kia launched and brought to the American market a new type of vehicle – a seven passenger crossover – that competes against the likes of the Toyota Matrix and the Dodge Caliper. This vehicle being sold in the U. S. as Kia Rondo is being sold in Europe as Kia Carens. Demand for crossovers continues to rise as the market has taken very well to this relatively new type of vehicle. Is the Rondo a success? According to several online reviews, there is no doubt that it is.
Kia’s aggressive surge on the world scene is being made evident through new or proposed factories in Europe and in Georgia, USA. As a subsidiary of the mighty Hyundai group, Kia has long stood for being the budget Korean brand while Hyundai is the company’s value brand. The Rondo is continueing Kia’s tradition of providing decent quality small vehicles for prices that are thousands of dollars less than the competition.
Importantly, the Rondo crossover fits nicely into a category of vehicles that have taken the U.S. by storm: mini-minivans. Popular in Europe, these compact vans are much smaller than current American minivans, yet still able to hold as many as 7 adults. With three passenger row seating, the Rondo and others like it squeeze out every possible square inch of interior space to accommodate passengers.
No, you won’t ride in luxury and the ride itself will be closer to a Corolla than to a Camry, but Kia banked on consumers wanting a well appointed 7 passenger vehicle that retails for around $20,000. No vehicle currently offered in the U.S. can claim to carry that many people for that small of a price. Clearly, Kia was the first company to accomplish that feat.
Unlike most upcoming vehicles, Kia held information about the Rondo close to the vest. With China’s Chery also preparing to send a similar vehicle to the U.S., Kia’s reticence was certainly understandable. Why give the competition more information than what was necessarily needed?
This secrecy turned out not necessary due to the fact that Chery had some legal issues that delayed their coming to the U. S. market.Four cylinder engines mated to various manual and automatic transmissions will power the Rondo. No diesel version was discussed for the U.S. market, but one was available for European motorists.
In addition, look for Kia to offer better standard equipment choices with the Rondo than previous models have offered including, standard side and head air bags, dual zone air conditioning, and possibly all wheel drive on a premium model.
Yes, Kia is no longer just a producer of cheap subcompacts. It has now expanded its growing line by offering vehicles that compete with others well estabilished on the market.

IRS Bankruptcy
Here’s a quote from a website on IRS bankruptcy that I found. The site belongs to Joe Mastriano, a highly experienced CPA with a lifetime of experience in tax problem solving and IRS representation…
Filing Chapter 7 Bankruptcy
Mostly for individuals, or couples wanting to erase personal debt. But businesses can use too. This choice gives you time to liquidate your assets to fully settle your debts. Many debts are fully dischargeable in a complete disolution. Liabilities such as payroll trust fund (witholding & social security) tax, spousal support, child support, are not wiped out, or forgiven.
You must file all applicable federal, state, and local tax returns, including those that become due after the bankruptcy case starts. Failure to file properly may cause the petition to be converted to another chapter, or dismissed. Do not default your bankruptcy.
The bankruptcy is treated as a new taxable entity, separate from the individual taxpayer.
A trustee is appointed to administer the estate and liquidate any non exempt assets.
If you are looking for help with bankruptcy filing, please visit our website at www.taxproblem.org.
Filing Chapter 11 Bankruptcy
This is a type of reorganization for businesses. The business stays open an operates while it makes provisions for repaying its debts.
You must file all returns as stated above in a chapter 7.
The bankruptcy is treated as a new taxable entity. This entity is separate from the individual taxpayer.
No trustee usually, the debtor remains in control (debtor-in-possession) and acts as the bankruptcy trustee.

Why would anyone seriously think about the idea to dealing with anxiety? Any time you can’t locate something you really need inside usual places, it’s logical to search for it in other areas. The Chronically Absent Employee…
“When faced with difficulty, certain employees will go “on the sick”. Meanwhile, the motivated employee faced with the same problem will either address the issue and resolve it, or will simply leave to find a better suited job.
Therefore in an effective organisation, when dealing with the chronically absent employee, our solution is to build motivation.” Andrew T. Austin, Briefing Report 2004.
Stress Management Workshops
It is estimated that in the UK at least 40 million working days are lost each year due to the effects of stress. But the cost to industry doesn’t end there, because the figure only relates to actual absences from work. Stress produces several other effects. Over-stressed employees at any level of a company are inefficient employees. At clerical and operative level, stress might reveal itself in carelessness, poor timekeeping and absenteeism. Whilst at more senior levels, creativity, judgement and decision making skills are affected.
It would be unrealistic to talk about eliminating stress. On the other hand, learning how to manage stress is something that everybody can do and benefit enormously from, which is why I offer Stress Management Training for people at work.
In groups of no more than 15 people, the one-day course focuses on them. The people you select to send on the course fill in a detailed questionnaire and the course content is tailored to their specific needs as opposed to a pre-scripted power point presentation, which may or may not be relevant to the group.
For this I charge £895 for the full day. All you need to provide is a suitable training room, refreshments, a white board and flipchart stand.
Your employees will come back from their course of Stress Management refreshed, confident and relaxed. But more importantly, permanent effects can be achieved with everyone who follows our simple programme of post course practice. To help to ensure that course participants continue to progress and develop their skills, I like to arrange a follow-up session six months after the course. The increased efficiency of the employees you have selected for training will repay their course fees many times over, whilst the personal benefits which each individual experiences from attending a course promotes a sense of appreciation that they are employed by a caring employer.
Virtually every large organisation is afflicted with a number of employees who present stress issues. Here are just some of the stereotypical examples:
The Never Here. This is the employee who continually manages to present a sick-note for their absences and knows exactly how to manipulate the system. They manage to retain their employment for years yet seem to be absent for long periods more often than they are actually at work.
The Frequent Flyer. This is the employee who seems pleasant enough but also appears to be so unlucky. Their Fridays and Mondays are ruined so regularly with “`flu”, “stomach upset”, “food poisoning”, “very bad cold” and so on.
The “High Karate” Kid. This is the employee who is the smooth charmer, tends to smell of cheap aftershave and thinks he hides his drink problem well. He isn’t as dumb as he appears and knows how to play the system to his eternal advantage.
The Management Blamer. This is the employee who sees all management as the enemy from which he needs to protect himself. He’s the intelligent low-achiever who always knows best. He also knows how to evade all personal responsibility and frequently exploits character weaknesses in anyone senior to him.
The Hopeless Depressive. She’s on the happy pills and has been for years even though they don’t help. Bad luck seems to afflict her and her family as she lurches from one crisis to another. At work she commands continual sympathy and has to be handled with kid gloves. There is always yet another 6-week sick note just round the corner and the staff counsellor dreads your next referral.
The Punisher. This is the stoical guy who wishes he lived back in the heady days when the Unions ruled the world with a rule of iron. He resists change, baits management continually and keeps a mental diary of all petty transgressions he observes. He thoroughly enjoys being his manager’s worst nightmare and knows it.
The Weirdo. This is the employee who looked good at interview despite his bad skin but suffers terribly from poor social skills in the work place. An atmosphere of awkwardness follows him everywhere he goes. He responds poorly to encouragement to be more sociable and is terrified of the pretty admin assistant.
The Pleaser. This employee suffers high anxiety levels but strangely doesn’t yet know it. They’ve been that way for so long, they have forgotten what it was like before. They bow, they scrape and the grovel in their desperate attempts to please. They are devastated at the slightest criticism and elicit an annoyed pity from everyone around them.
“We have all experienced ‘Death by Power Point’ at least once. The main problem about pre-scripted Power Point presentations is that they tend to be largely irrelevant to the audience who often have paid in excess of £200 a day each to be there. The use of Power Point does little to enhance learning by the audience, but does everything for the presenter who lacks the flexibility to respond to each and every audience.” Andrew T. Austin, Briefing Report 2004.
What is covered on the training…
Each employee is asked to fill in a questionnaire prior to the training. The majority of the training is based on the individuals attending and is not a pre-scripted “power-point presentation”. Listed here are just some of the common areas that feature on such trainings.
- How to have that Friday feeling…on a Monday!
- How to manage that employee or colleague that you simply do not like but cannot avoid.
- When “reassurance” and “approval” turns bad – what every employee and manager needs to know.
- How to get that good night’s sleep when a thing at work continues to bug you.
- Why should I be the one to suffer stress management classes when it is all management’s fault that I am stressed in the first place?!
- When you want something doing, give it to the busy guy…
- I’m the busy guy, so why do they keep giving me more work?
- Moaners and Complainers – Dealing effectively (no weapons) with those employees/colleagues that are the main vectors of stress.
- Managers – how to work for the manager who is at his/her most effective when he is anywhere but here.
- Self-empowerment – how to have it and how to use it to your advantage.
- Long term sickness absence with “stress” – what to do about it.
- Self-hypnosis, tips and tricks from NLP and a technique from meditation masters.
How to Organise The One Day Complete Stress Solutions Seminar…
- Identify up to 15 of your most “at risk” employees.
Consider employees who are currently away on long-term sickness absence with mental health or stress related issues.
- Contact Andrew T. Austin to arrange a preliminary meeting to discuss specific requirements and organise suitable seminar date.
- Collect survey forms and pre-addressed envelopes and distribute these to the identified employees. You will need to chase these up to ensure all are returned by the pre-arranged date.
- Ensure an adequate sized training room is available with refreshments throughout the day. I’ll also need a flip chart stand and whiteboard.

Learning to drive and pass your driving test can be one of the most exciting times of our lives leading to new levels of freedom, independence and job opportunities it can also be very expensive and take a long time, which is why choosing the right driving instructor or driving school is so important.
Learning to drive is an exciting, frightening and often confusing endeavour, learning to drive a car safely and efficiently in modern traffic involves much more than passing a government road test to get a license. For some, learning to drive might be the most nerve-wracking thing they’ve ever done, and for others, the best thing.
Before you can start learning to drive, you must hold a valid signed provisional driving licence to drive on a public road. The Minimum age for learning to drive in the UK is 17, and you can apply for your provisional licence two weeks before your birthday.
Why choose a driving instructor? It’s best to take Driving Lessons in Wakefield with a qualified driving instructor who will follow the recommended syllabus for learning to drive. Approved instructors have to pass tough theory and driving tests, as well as having their tuition standards checked regularly. A good driving instructor should be punctual, reliable, have a good reputation and have a car that is suitable for you.
The advantages of being taught by a professional driving instructors Wakefield are that they are trained to do the job, possess the skills to deal with nervous and hesitant drivers and are equipped with dual-controlled cars.
Practice makes permanent, so when your driving instructor thinks you are ready, why not get more practice with family or a friend. You can practice your driving with a friend or relative if they are over 21 years old and have held a full licence for at least 3 years.
How do you choose the right driving instructor? Have a Look at drivingschool-websites.co.uk. Don’t expect a good driving instructor for the price a cheap instructor charges. Choosing the right driving instructor is essential. Some of the problems with poor instructors are they sometimes try to build the upper floors of the house before finishing the foundations!
Look for an instructor who offers excellent instruction and has a good reputation. They will probably charge a little more per driving lesson but if you do this it will cost less in the end.
You can start your driving lessons whilst studying for the theory test, but you must first pass a theory test before you can apply for your practical test. Whilst learning to drive a wide range of resources can be found from your local library, including books and videos. It is also well worth getting your eyesight tested before learning to drive.

There is no more rewarding an experience than adopting a dog from a local rescue. People queue up for puppies when they are ready to leave their mothers but fewer people rescue dogs, especially those that are above a couple of years of age.
If you take on a rescue dog that has perfect toilet habits then you are one of the lucky ones but should still follow through with housebreaking a dog to reinforce it and place yourself in the role of authority. This will demonstrate that you are starting as you mean to go on and enforce the rules.
Housebreaking a dog is not just for puppies but for any new dog in your home so be sure to apply the principles to your rescue as well.
• Newspaper – This is for potential accidents in the house. Not only does it soak up urine well but it can also be laid for your dog as he or she is given a free run of the house in the first few days. Many breeders start to train with newspaper.
• Treats – If housebreaking a dog is to be a success then it should be rewarding. Only give treats for good behaviour to start with after they have been outside and then decrease the regularity of their use.
If you have recently or are about to become the owner of a dog then the likelihood is that you are thinking about how much fun owning a dog will actually be. Instead, you should actually be thinking about how to train your dog and how much hard work you should put in during the first few weeks to ensure that you get the puppy of your dreams without the bad behaviour that could come with it! Dog behavior training is an important part of the early days so you should make sure that you are ready to start right away!
There are a few essential tools that you should invest in before housebreaking a dog because they will make your task easier, and some of them you may not think of:
• Newspaper – This is for potential accidents in the house. Not only does it soak up urine well but it can also be laid for your dog as he or she is given a free run of the house in the first few days. Many breeders start to train with newspaper.

I’ll start off by saying that yes, the piano is the hardest instrument to learn (in my opinion). I know it looks easy when you watch people and it just looks like you need to press the keys in the right order and you make a nice tune, but there is so much more to it than that! The first stumbling block for most people is that they are going to get both hands doing different things, which most people have no experience with until they start learning the piano. So to make the beautiful music you hear pianists plays then you could have your left-hand playing a repeating tune and then the right-hand is playing the moving part of the song, something which is really difficult for most people to grasp.
We don’t tend to think about the fact they are using their hands to do two different things at the same time when we watch someone play. With a guitar then it is slightly easier as your left-hand just moves between chords while your right-hand strums (that is a simplification, but basically right), but on a piano you can have the two hands in different places playing different tunes. That means with a piano you also have two lines of music to read and interpret, rather than the one with most other instruments. Don’t panic though, with a lot of hard work and practice you can get used to following it. Getting a good course to follow like the one mentioned in this Rocket piano review will really help you learn quickly too.
So now you know how difficult it is going to be are you still interested? Most people don’t have the dedication to learn the piano if they didn’t already learn it growing up, but it is a fantastic instrument to be able to play, so if you do put in the work you will be richly rewarded in the end.
